Interview: In regards to Walter Wallace Jr., a conversation with his family, Dr. Nephetina Serrano

Walter Wallace Jr. was murdered by Philadelphia Police October 26, 2020 when his mother called for help during a bipolar episode. His cousin, Dr. Neheptina Serrano, gives proximity and perspective on how it feels to suffer a family trauma that is consumed by the public, and how we can be of service beyond hashtags and politicization. This conversation is an important lesson in community.
